MCP0010 is a ready-to-use single-component long-lasting protective coating developed by AZ Nano Tech. Utilizing self-assembling molecular technology, it forms a durable hydrophobic layer on glass surfaces within 10-20 minutes at room temperature.
The coating delivers exceptional hydrophobic & oleophobic performance with a contact angle exceeding 110°, while reducing and making fingerprints easy to remove. With excellent weather resistance, it offers protection for up to 1-2 years in indoor environments and over 6 months in outdoor conditions.

INSTRUCTIONS OF USE
Application Instructions
Step 1: Glass Surface Preparation (Oxidation Film Removal)
To ensure the coating’s success, the glass surface must be thoroughly cleaned with MAZ0004 Glass Compound. This process guarantees a strong chemical bond between MAZ0010 and the substrate surface, which directly affects the coating’s durability and scratch resistance.

Surface Cleaning with MCP0004:
- Pour MAZ0004 Glass Compound onto a wool felt pad.
- Apply it evenly across the glass surface, scrubbing repeatedly.
- Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all residues.
- Use a glass squeegee to remove excess water, ensuring the glass is clean, dry, and free of dust, oil, or other contaminants.

Verification of Cleanliness:
- Water Film Test: Rinse the glass with water. A uniform water film without localized water shrinkage indicates proper cleaning. If water shrinkage occurs, repeat the cleaning process.
- Marker Test: Scribble on the glass with an oil-based marker. If the marks can be wiped away easily with water, the glass is considered clean.
Step 2: Surface Application
- Wrap a special sponge with a microfiber cloth and moisten it thoroughly with the coating solution.
- Apply the coating evenly in a crisscross (grid) pattern, working from top to bottom to ensure full coverage.
- Allow the coating to sit for 3-5 minutes. Then, use a clean microfiber towel to wipe away any excess coating.
Optional: Accelerated Drying
- To enhance the drying process, use a blow dryer to heat the surface for 20-30 minutes. The longer the drying time, the better the results.
Step 3: Reapplication
If the desired effect is not achieved, repeat Steps 1-2 to apply an additional layer of coating.
Reapplication on Previously Treated Surfaces
- MAZ0010 typically lasts 1-2 years under normal conditions. If the coating’s performance diminishes over time, the surface can be treated again using the same steps.
Curing Method
- Room temperature curing: 6-8 hours to achieve 80% curing, fully cured within 7 days.
- Before application, clean the metal surface thoroughly and apply evenly using a lint-free cloth.

- Hydrophobic, oleophobic, easy-to-clean, and stain-resistant treatment for various glass substrates.
Storage
- Temperature: Store at 18-25°C.
- Shelf Life: 18 months (unopened); 1 month (after opening).
- Humidity Protection: This product is moisture-sensitive. Ensure proper sealing of the container after use to prevent degradation.
